Mezibori is an interesting town in the northwest of Czech Republic. It is located on a slope of a hill above a valley with a major town Litvinov, completely surrounded with a fine forest - conservation area of nature. Although it has not a significant relics, it is sought out because of recreation, and not only from people living in the five miles far Litvinov - industry town with refineries and near by surface coal mining. Mezibori has its own stadium, football playground and a ski slope. The centre with most facilities is in the south, adjacent to the only main road to Litvinov.
The objective of Land-use plan was to resolve these key problems: a large lack of parking, an other road connection of the town, a renovation and transformation of functions of scrubby structures and a placing of a new hydro-electric pump plant with its dam in a side valley and a artificial lake on the top of one hill above Mezibori. The new plan focus on recreation activities, from which the town can benefit. We planned new ski slopes, adjacent hotels and additional services, new tourist, bike and ski ways.
Today we have passed the whole process, from a locality investigation to final commitment.
